Concieving a daughter after vasectomy?

My husband had a vasectomy performed 2 years ago. We have 4 sons, and now would like to have another child. We want a daughter, but will be just as happy with another son. My question is, is it possible to extract sperm from my husband, (w/out having to perform a reversal), and inject it into me? Would these be invitro? Does anyone know how much the cost would be- if it is even possible? Could a doctor implant me with a female sperm, so that we could have a daughter? Is all of this even possible? Would it be cheaper to just have the reversal performed?
