Like conservative columnist Mona Charen said years ago: what the gay community wants is society's approval. Look above at Newell's comment that he wants "equal rights." .... "Equal" would mean that there is no moral difference between ity and heterouality. Society already had been rejecting that proposition for over 200 years. Now attitudes are changing, but they are not changing rapidly enough or compehensively enough to suit the radical left.
