Very scary dream over and over again. What does it mean?

I'm having a dream that i am in a zoo/fair/flea market or something like that and I was with my 14 year old son and wife. I've had the dream twice in two nights now. In the first dream, there is somebody's trained pet lion, and its walking around sniffing people. it attacks my wife and i run, like a coward, up onto a bunch of hay bales. In the second one, it's my son being attacked. I'm sitting in the hay bales, watching, this very very graphic scene of a lion ripping the brains and guts out of my son or wife. Also, in the second dream, as i was in the hay bales, a man spit in my hair. I turned around and said "what are you doing"? he was watching my son get ripped apart by this lion like its an amusement show and he says "You've been here before, haven't you?" I say "what"? and he goes "you've sat here before and watched your family get killed, so now what are you going to do about it"? please tell me what this means I am very afraid. Im jumping to conclusions that somebody is going to break in my house and make me watch as they kill my family or something. please
