I clean snow of an elderly ladys car in the winter and shovel around i. i think i broke the car?

We had a huge snowstorm so it too me awhile to shovel around it and then i had to move the car so the plow could come in and do the whole big yard. the car was stuck so i got a push from some guy and while spinning teh tires a bit to get out i heard a pop from the muffler i thin then it smelled bad and now the car sounds like a derby car? what do i do? i feel really bad and i dont now if i should offer to pay for it or what or maybe it was ready to break. im not sure. i told her te car was loud and i wasnt sure why. i just feel real bad. I dont even have any money.
