Very scary dream over and over again. What does it mean?

I'm having a dream that i am in a zoo/fair/flea market or something like that and I was with my 14 year old son and wife. I've had the dream twice in two nights now. In the first dream, there is somebody's trained pet lion, and its walking around sniffing people. it attacks my wife and i run, like a coward, up onto a bunch of hay bales. I have 28 Kenyi fry in a 40 gallon breeder tank with 330 gph filtration. THey're currently about .25-.5 inches. How quickly should I expect them to grow if I'm feeding them approximately 4-5 times a day with a mixture of crushed cichlid pellets, algae wafers, blood worms, brine shrimp (live and frozen) and Hikari first bites as well as changing about 9 gallons of water of the water every 4 days. How large do they have to be before they're considered "selling size"? I've had them for about 2 weeks now and they've double in size easily from when they were striped to now. They were starting to look a bit cramped in the little net breeders so I put them in a 40 gallon tank. The main reason I ask this is because I don't want to stress the darlings by having the bioload in the grow out tank to be too high for two long. I want to trade them in for store credit at my LFS but they'll only take them "if they can sell them" and if "they have room".

Malcolm X was given extremely bad press during his day. They equated him with white hate groups like the KKK in the media. The general population VERY EASILY believed the image of him that the media had conjured. Especially because it was the 1960's, it was easy to simply dismiss a black man (who they didn't see as equal to themselves or could try to relate to) and believe he hated them. If you were told someone hated you, maybe that's all you'd want to hear about them. They didn't dig for the truth about this man and also didn't have as easy of access to comparative media resources as we have now. Even to this day, some of my friends have spoken negatively about Malcolm X because of what their parents have told them, without even looking it up. I've definitely said what I felt was important for them to know, and they politely tell me they'll look into it, but I don't know if they ever do or if what I said was strong enough for them to remember over their initial belief. Telling them that the media tainted Malcolm X's (and the Black Panther Party's for that matter) reputation seems to help them understand as young people know the evils of the media. Bringing them back to reality and helping them to use their common sense seems to help too. I usually ask "If (said person or group) was so hateful against whites and they had a good following, why haven't we heard about white people being lynched, or victims of hate crimes throughout history?" Just helping them to actually THINK about what they've been told seems to make an impression on them. It's just an unfair and sheltered way of thinking that eventually became lazy-thinking once we gained access to more resources.

Hi, I took Honors Calculus the first semester of this year and got a B-, I then talked with my guidance counselor and I went into the AP Calculus to prep for the AP exam and I do not get an actual grade in the cl. So I am now in AP Calc and not doing so well. I've have received a 72, 34, and 43 on the first 3 exams so far. There are 4 other Honors Calc kids that are taking this AP Calc cl with me and they are doing equally bad if not worse. Im looking for a good ab routine that i can do after my workouts that will get me cut?

I work out and play basketball probably about 5 days a week, I eat decent but not great but for the amount of time I put in the gym there is no way I'm not cutting fat daily. I have a good body but for some reason it seems like my ab workouts are lacking, I burn them out everyday I workout but the results at end of the week, and the next week aren't what I expect. I played college football so I know not to overwork my muscles and let them rest if I feel any strain, I look more for repetition rather than adding weight when Im doing abs. But it seems that I can never get that extra little fat in the front of my stomach to go away. Any suggestions on maybe adding weight to it? Switching it up? I figured it might have something to do with the protein intake I have so I've upped it a little bit. I figured trying to cut it rather than bulk it was my best option but it looks like I just need something changed? And any suggestions on a diet with a low income salary? 22 5'9 170lbs

Are my student loans being disbursed legally?

My school has always and still does take all of my subsidized loans, grant money and unsubsidized loan disbursements and apply them first to my tuition and books, then waits for the second disbursement before applying to my account as a credit. I was told this is illegal. Shouldn't they wait for the second disbursement for the tuition, after all they know it's coming? I didn't apply for excess funding to pay the school for tuition that the subsidized loans and grants were meant to pay, or to have to wait and get it in two installments instead of one. If you did not have a 20 team draft, you should be able to pick up a decent OF like Jacque Jones, Magglio Ordonez, or even Garrett Anderson. Lowell is an Ok 3B, but you could trade away Contreras, LoDuca, Mench, or a combination of the three to upgrade that position. A few of your players are also getting older (Schilling, Green, Pudge, Chipper) and might not do as well as previous years, but they are all worthy of being on your fantasy team. Overall though, your team looks like they will be in the playoffs (if you did Head-Head), but you could do a little upgrading to win the league.

Which College Should I Choose?

I am having an incredibly difficult time trying to decide which college I should go to next year. i am a senior now and I've narrowed down my schools to Coastal Carolina University, Florida Atlantic University, Texas A&M @ Galveston, and Juniata University in Pennsylvania. I am leaning towards Coastal Carolina or Texas A&M at the moment but I really can not decide. As a potential marine biology major I know all of these schools are great but it's just so hard to choose. A&M has an amazing marine science program and the campus at galveston is centered around Marine Science, but do I want to go to texas? And I really feel that I could get a great education while studying at Coastal Carolina while also getting the real college experience. but there is also Juniata College which is a school that I could play Division 2 Volleyball for which would be fun too because they have a marine sciences major. So I'm still trying to weigh these options without going into a catatonic depression and losing my mind! Any istance in this educational endeavor of mine would be greatly appreciated. Hi, I have exactly the same thing! A little below my belly on and its a lump...I think its very common and from where the skin stretches...a little like scar tissue. I have stretch marks all across my lower belly like you and think its just the trauma of having so much stretching in such a short space of time. If you are concerned about it then I would definitely tell your midwife or doctor and put your mind at rest but I'm pretty sure its fine and another one of those lovely things from pregnancy :P Good Luck and hope all goes well :)

How do I remove the rear, ramp sight (Marbles) on my Pre 64 Win. Model 94 SRC?

I want to remove the Marbles style ramp, rear sight on my old Model 94. The gun was mfg. in 1924 as verified by my serial number. I am not sure how to proceed with removal of the rear sight. This style of sight is a buckhorn type. It has one, small set screw to allow adjustment of the tiny elevation piece inside the buckhorn section. I can find no other screws holding this sight on. Is it dove tailed, press fitted? Not sure how this is attached to the top of the barrel. Please help. Thanks. Doug

Did I make the right decision? Grieving and feeling guilty about euthanizing my best buddy?

My heart is really hurting right now because of the recent euthanization of my 4yr/8 month old mini schnauzer 2 days ago. such a happy boy and a big snuggler but, from a year old, I always knew he was different and not as normal as other dogs throughout my life. My mom got him for me because my other schnauzer was 12 yr old and mom did not know how much time I would have left with her so, I should say he was her replacement. My husband, family and I ALWAYS said we did not think he would live a long life because of his activity, habits and demeanor as a young pup. At 1 1/2 years old I wanted to stud him out and got bloodwork done (which was normal) he showed no interest in female dogs. He was uninterested, getting fat and not as active. I have two other dogs that kept him going but, I learned that I could not leave any food down even for our cats because he would eat everything. He was not very active even at a young age, my husband and I SPOIL our animals and would lift him up & down the stairs, bed, couch, and the back stairs (he got used to this until the day we let him go). He managed to get into food that we brought home from the vet a 20lb bag left in the kitchen and ate enough until we caught him, he got into halloween candy last year and ate it until we could catch him (we then bought the dog food storage containers). Our vet suggested a diet and he only ate a recommended quantity twice daily. He would lost weight and gain it back. About a year ago he started losing his vision. Our vet said that he could not see anything wrong with his eyes. I can tell you so much more about his problems but Overall, he has had problems with his vision, muscle tone, weakness, appetite for the past 2 1/2 years but, still a loving happy boy that mom and dad loved and treated as a special dog. He was our baby and we did not care if we had to give him extra attention. I brought him to the groomer last month and he came home with an ear infection.. I then brought him to the vet and he had lost weight too fast, I suggested getting bloodwork on him because I was suspicious of Diabetes, turns out he was in renal failure and anemic, the vet said he needed a blood transfusion, IV fluids, ultrasound of kidneys and a bunch of other tests that could pinpoint his diagnosis costing from $3000-$8000 and they could not determine if the outcome of the up-hill battle would work for my little guy. X-rays showed and enlarged heart and a murmur.. Around x-mas he would vomit here and there and showed no appetite turning his nose up to everything, (except roastbeef) that was not our dog and we knew something was going on in his once 34lb body to 22lb body. With his whole medical backround and the dog that I always saw and knew I did not see him going through so much distress, surviving. He to us always had a weakness to begin with and I did not want to put him through all the stress, anxiety, treatments, medications and so forth, just to progress his life without knowing if it was 2 weeks or 2 years. My other dogs do notice him not here and the mini schnauzer my mom bought him for me to replace is 16 and still with me, I feel lousy.. Did i do wrong by ending my lil guys' life so, soon and not giving him a chance, financially we could not afford it but, I could have come up with the money working with friends and family to pay them back. From his past medical history and his problems, I did not want to put him through all that stress without knowing if the outcome would work. CRF is irreversible and my buddy had already lost partial vision, renal failure, anemia, with an enlarged heart, Did I do right by him? Your comments are well appreciated, my story is long and not all included as far as his complete health backround.. I don't think his lil' body could handle much more, I have been crying for days, no appetite and my husband is very sad as well.. I feel soooooooooo guilty but, know he was never a strong pup to begin with.. If I only got bloodwork sooner, I don't know.. We gave him lots of chocolate before our decision and he was such a happy pup, the tranquilizer was not a full dose and it looked like he was convulsing and the vet apologized and said he thought that dose would be enough, the euthanization was quick but, very painful for us. How many of those do you think snuck across the border? The border fence interrupts the natural migration of wildlife and has separated at least one Indian tribe in Arizona. I'm a C cup, and I wore one of those adhesive bras to a company Christmas party w/a low back top. It was a little warm at the Country Club with so many people that I had trouble with it sticking. Luckily, the top was pretty fitted so it kept it in place. It also provided less and less support throughout the night. The only thing that it did was give my shirt a "smooth" look, although I could have spent a lot less and just gotten Posies or something like that. I think that the adhesive bras work better for smaller chested girls as my little sis is a B cup and wears one all of the time. My advice would be to do a trial run in a dress with the adhesive bra and see how it will work for you.

Not exactly. If you work wet , you shouldnt have an issue. The only time you need to be careful is if you fabricate stones from Namibia, Africa. They are quarried basically along side of Uranium mines. Not many fabricators work with these stones however, since most from this area are very exotic. Other than that, Niagra Gold is also , somewhat hazardous, but fabrictaing that stone all day will not expose you to any more radiation than a flight to California from the east cost. Crema Bordeaux and Juparana Bordeaux are also two that are very high, but about as harmful as your cell phone. If you are still worried, or if you work as a dry cutter you can wear a Valved Mask over your nose and mouth. You can also bug your Boss to have someone from a local University come to your fabrication area with a giger counter, just to be safe. :)

Is it OK to give melon or watermelon to my dog?

Fridge/Freezer not working properly?

My fridge/freezer is not cooling properly. Lately it has not been keeping things very cold- all the meat has defrosted the ice-cream has turned into a (delicious) slurry. But to be fair it has been up to 41 degrees outside (about 35 inside), about 105 degrees for those who haven't accepted the metric system. But it has never done it before and it has gotten hotter here before. It is excessively hot around the edges but not the back, its leaking this weird yellowish gunk near the seals and the seals have completely had it. Does anyone know if it's repairable or if its completely dead?
