Fridge/Freezer not working properly?

My fridge/freezer is not cooling properly. Lately it has not been keeping things very cold- all the meat has defrosted the ice-cream has turned into a (delicious) slurry. But to be fair it has been up to 41 degrees outside (about 35 inside), about 105 degrees for those who haven't accepted the metric system. But it has never done it before and it has gotten hotter here before. It is excessively hot around the edges but not the back, its leaking this weird yellowish gunk near the seals and the seals have completely had it. Does anyone know if it's repairable or if its completely dead?
