Is there a chance we could get back together?

Just this week my boyfriend and I broke up. It was a somewhat mutual break up, but very abrupt nonetheless. We had been perfectly fine the past few months and then we broke up. I love him so much. It very literally hurts. The reason for our split centered on religious differences. He is a devout christian and I'm a stubborn agnostic. He couldn't get around the fact that I disagreed with his belief. Not once did I suggest that I wanted him to change while he sometimes pleaded with me to change because he cared for my afterlife. We are in high school, and while I see the severity of the issue, I don't think it should matter so much because we have our whole future ahead of us. I want more than anything to get back together with him. I've never felt this way over a break up. I've never even wanted to get back with any of my ex's. But I keep finding myself thinking of ways to win him back and I feel so pathetic. Is there and substantial hope for our relationship. Or should I just move on. For some reason I just can't accept that its over.
