Manual Scion tC owners please look! (no technological knowledge needed)?

I am thinking about getting a scion tc used as my first car. probably 2006 and i wanted to get a manual . I have heard that the manual transmission isn't very good on the tc. Can anyone please confirm this or tell me your personal experiences with the manual tc.
